Hrithik Sharma
Hrithik Sharma, the founder of Parallax Productions, is an Indian Music Producer, multi-instrumentalist, composer, audio engineer. Hrithik was introduced to music by his father, who gifted him his first instrument, a keyboard, at the age of 7 and from that point, there was no turning back. His mentor, Mr. Ren Gonsalves taught him the nuances of guitaring at the age 13 as he pursued his passion for music while continuing studies.
Hrithik graduated in Bachelors in Electronics and Communication from Shiv Nadar University and during that course he got introduced to the world of Audio Engineering and music production through his friend. Also, during this time he was a part of the band Ephemeral and won/participated in several inter/intra college band competitions all over India.
After graduating , he completed his degree in Audio Engineering & Music Production from Sri Aurobindo Center for Arts & Communication (SACAC) with a certificate of accomplishment for exceptional consistency in application of creative thought in the programme. After that he shifted to Mumbai and has had the opportunity to work in the prestigious Yash Raj Studios under the mentorship of Mr. Vijay Dayal where he learned the intricacies of audio recording, mixing & mastering in a professional environment.
During that period, Hrithik worked with major Bollywood music directors such as Preetam, Ajay Atul, Shankar Ehsaan Loy, Vishal Shekhar, along with top artists such as Asha Bhosle, Shreya Ghoshal, Sonu Nigam, Mika Singh to name a few. He has worked on projects like Bharat, Zero, Manikarnika, Thackeray, Kalank etc and is currently working on the upcoming rap reality show MTV Hustle. He is also working on the debut EP for his band Chasing Waves, a progressive-jazz instrumental duo hailing from India & Australia.
The agenda behind establishing Parallax Productions was to move forward in the direction of his mission, which is to connect the best up-coming talent with musicians and brands who desire an affordable, high quality, and collaborative experience. In the age of internet, boundaries and territories can be easily transcended. This opens up an entirely new world of music creation and allows him to really find the best fit for clients and enabled him to employ independent creators all over the globe.
As a producer Hrithik, believes in using his knowledge of various music composition techniques across different genres like ballad, hip-hop, R&b, trap all the way upto heavy metal. Under Parallax productions he plans to establish a brand that, through the purest form of audio, will provide the best quality music production and audio related services to his clients.
